Why refunds go back to your original payment card only

Modified on Fri, 14 Aug at 6:10 PM

Any refund, whether it's a cooling-off request, a cancellation, or a postponement, always goes back to the exact card you originally paid with. There's no option to redirect it elsewhere, that's just how card refunds genuinely work, not a choice we've made to be awkward.

If that card's since expired or been cancelled, don't worry, your bank will usually still process the refund through to your account, or your new card if one's been reissued. If you're ever unsure, your bank is the best place to check.
