How to list a ticket for resale

Can't make it after all? If the promoter has enabled resale for that event, you can list your ticket straight from My Account, no need to go anywhere else.

Before you can list anything, you'll need to set up resale payouts once, from the "Resale payouts" section in My Account. This uses Stripe to securely handle how you get paid, we never see or store your bank details ourselves.

Once that's set up, find the ticket in your order list and choose "Resell." Confirm your password and click "List this ticket for resale," and it'll appear on our Resale Hub for other buyers to find.

If you don't see a resale option next to a particular ticket, it just means the promoter hasn't switched this on for that event. It's entirely up to each promoter to decide, so it can vary from show to show.

One thing worth knowing: we only ever allow resale at face value or less, never higher. It's not a marketplace for making a profit, it's there so someone who genuinely can't attend anymore has a fair way to pass their ticket on, and someone else gets a fair price for it.

You'll be paid back the ticket's face value, but not the original booking fee you paid when you bought it. That fee covered the cost of processing your original purchase, which already happened, rather than being a deposit that follows the ticket around. The new buyer pays their own booking fee as part of the resale, same as any other purchase.

Once it sells, the ticket is automatically transferred to the buyer, your copy stops working so there's no risk of it being used twice, and your payout is sent automatically once the transfer's complete.
