Can't make it anymore, or just want to treat a friend? You can gift any ticket straight from your account, no need to mess about with printing or forwarding QR codes yourself.
In My Account, find the ticket you want to gift in your order list and choose "Gift" right there next to it. Pop in their name and email, confirm your password, and it's sent straight to them, ready to use.
Once it's gifted, it's genuinely theirs, your copy stops working and won't scan at the door, so there's no confusion about who's holding the valid ticket on the night.
