What happens during a busy on-sale

Modified on Fri, 14 Aug at 10:19 AM

For very popular on-sales, you may be placed in a virtual waiting room before you can start choosing tickets. This keeps checkout running smoothly during a big rush of visitors.

Your position in the queue is random, not based on how quickly you clicked. This is deliberate: a queue based purely on speed rewards fast connections and bots, not genuine fans. Everyone waiting has an equal chance regardless of their device or connection.

There's no need to keep refreshing the page. Once you're in the queue, your spot is set.
