These three sound similar but work quite differently, so it's worth being clear on which one applies to you.
Cancellation - the event isn't happening at all. Your refund is automatic, you don't need to do anything, and it includes the booking fee.
Postponement - the event is still happening, just on a different date. You get 30 days from when the new date is confirmed to decide if you can make it. If you can, do nothing, your ticket carries over. If you can't, request a refund yourself within that window.
Cooling-off period - nothing's changed with the event at all, this is simply a genuine change of mind on your part. If the promoter's enabled it, you have 24 hours from your purchase (and the event needs to still be more than 24 hours away) to request a refund yourself, no explanation needed.
