The booking fee covers the cost of running the platform, this is our only source of income. We don't take anything from the ticket's face value; that's not ours. That goes straight to the event organiser.
A share of every booking fee is also set aside into the Backline Fund, supporting grassroots venues, artists, and music education. You can read more about that on our blog.
You'll always see the exact fee broken down on the order confirmation page before you pay. Nothing appears for the first time at checkout.
