If a venue is accessible and the promoter's enabled it, you'll see accessible tickets available right on the event page, no need to phone or email anyone.
Many accessible tickets come with a free companion ticket too, so whoever's coming with you doesn't need to buy their own. Just tick "I require a companion to attend safely" when you book, there's nothing to explain or justify, we take you at your word.
If you'd like, you can also add a short note about your accessibility requirements, so the organiser can prepare ahead of time rather than you needing to explain again at the door. This is entirely optional.
If you hold a National Access Card, there's a field for your reference number too. We never see or store any medical or benefits documentation ourselves, the scheme's already done that verification, we just take the reference.
Not every event offers accessible booking, it depends on the venue and whether the promoter has switched it on.
The accessibility details shown on an event listing (step-free access, accessible toilets, and so on) are provided by the promoter and venue, not verified by us, so we'd always recommend checking those details carefully and, if you're unsure, contacting the venue directly before buying, rather than assuming.
