For events with a seating map, selecting more than one ticket at once will automatically try to seat your group together within the same row.
If there isn't a large enough group of seats together in any row, you'll see a message letting you know, along with the option to choose your own seats manually instead.
If a venue doesn't have a seating map set up yet, there are no assigned positions at all, so your group is free to sit wherever they like together.
For standing or general admission tickets, it's the same, no assigned positions, so your group can enter and stand together freely.
If you're buying for a group, it's worth completing your purchase in one order together where possible, since seat availability can change between separate purchases.
